I want to add large number of information to suplementary information in ISO
19139. I used the ISO 19139 metadata editor to fill the suplementary
information. I added each infomation in new line but when I view the
metadata in the normal view there was no line breaks, every thing had come
together like a paragraph. It is very deficult to read the information.
Therefore I want to view each information in new line in the normal view.
Please can any one advice, how to do this, what changes should be made,
where these changes should be made. I am using geonetwork 2.2
Thank You, Best Regrads.

Hi.
Is it possible to force id / name of this logo ? To obtain a more human friendly file name and id ?
What would happen if I change the siteId in settings table (and cadascade it in the metadata table, of course) ?

Hi, You have to put your new image in : ...\geonetwork\web\geonetwork\images\logos The name of this image has to be the same as the value of "siteID" (bottom right of page "About"). You can also find this value in your database (column "source" in table "metadata"). Pierre

You could but the idea is to have unique identifier [1] for each
catalogues as for metadata records. The idea is to not to have
duplicates when harvesting information from one node to another. In
previous version of GeoNetwork, node id was a configuration option but
it has been change since 2.1 I think. I do not recommand to change it
if you plan to use harvesting or to be harvested by others using at
least GeoNetwork protocol.
Cheers. Francois

We faced the same problem with our older metadata system (NMMR), and solved this with some XSLT that "guessed" when to the author intended to use whitespace for formatting.
It's something we want to add to Geonetwork, too.
I'll dig up this code and pass it on...

Sarah,
My code is in another, older metadata app we developed here at NOAA (the "NMMR"). I've not yet integrated it into Geonetwork. It shouldn't be too hard; just some copy/paste/test work to make sure it handles the way the jeeves engine in Geonetwork passes XML to the various XSL transforms.
You're the 3rd or 4th person to ask, so I had better get moving on this!
Jeroen, should this be made into an official "proposal", or is it simple enough to just do it, and offer the code to you guys for committing?
Thanks for the interest,
--Rich

Hi Richard,
If it is just a small patch you could send that to the developer list and agree with one of us to integrate it into SVN. A proposal may then be an overkill. If it involves a whole range of files (XSLT, Java. ??) and you see a possible nasty side effect on other parts of the system, then I think you best write a proposal that gives more details.
Cheers,
Jeroen

Sounds good.
I don't think it will be many files, probably just XSLT. I'll let you all know more when I know more.
Thanks,
