[GeoNetwork-users] Import GEMET Thesaurus

Hello,

does anyone know a straightforward mail to import the GEMET thesaurus
into GN 2.2? I read about some problems in the archives and tried for
myself to import the gemet-definitions.rdf from
http://www.eionet.europa.eu/gemet/, but the definitions are not
searchable in GN.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,

Heiko

Hello Heiko,
GEMET as provided by EEA require to download more than one RDF files
in order to create a searchable thesaurus. gemet-definitions is not
enough.
You could have a try with the RDF file available here [1] which have
been tested using geonetwork trunk. You may have issue using it in
2.2. Let us know !
In this utility sandbox, you also have scripts to generate GEMET
thesaurus in one or more languages (defaults one have all GUI
languages) from EEA RDF repository.
