Hello,
We are working with ArcGIS to describe our geodata. To get the Meta-Format
correctly we translate them from ARCGIS style to ISO19139 with a python
snippet using ArcPy.
I would love to just zip the file (mostly shapefiles) add the metadata and
push everything to GeoNetwork.
Is this possible for v3?
I´ve found some old posts:
http://lab.usgin.org/groups/etl-debug-blog/import-mef-metadata-archive-geonetwork-through-python
http://lab.usgin.org/groups/etl-debug-blog/create-geonetwork-mef-files-iso-19139-xml-through-python
are these viable?
Hi Florian
The mef import service is available. Some changes in the authentication as
since version 2.10 GeoNetwork uses Spring Security (no longer
xml.user.login and xml.user.logout)
You issue a first request using Basic Authentication providing the
credentials and grab the JSESSIONID value to reuse it in the following
requests, so this way the session is keep between requests.
Regards,
Jose García
