[GeoNetwork-users] Import new records issue

Hi all

I'm trying to upload an xml file from my desktop to GN 3.2, with no success.

Checked the error logs, got two errors not quite sure what they mean.

Here's the geonetwork error log:

2016-11-22 13:20:10,766 ERROR [jeeves] - Error occurred within a transaction

NoSchemaMatchesException : Autodetecting schema failed for metadata record with root element metadata in namespace [Namespace: prefix "" is mapped to URI ""].

Here's the localhost access log:
[22/Nov/2016:13:20:15 -0700] "POST /geonetwork/srv/api/records HTTP/1.1" 500 13912

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi Kevin

Seem GeoNetwork is not able to identify the type of metadata you're
uploading. Can you send the metadata to check?

Hi Kevin

That is ESRI metadata, I think in previous versions of GeoNetwork could be
imported like that,but in 3.2.x was removed the FGDC metadata support. I
think should be related to that.

In any case you can import it, but will be transformed in iso19139 format.
In the import dialog, select the following xlst:

!import-xslt.png|603x135
