[GeoNetwork-users] incomplete harvesting

Hi,

when harvesting a CSW 2.0.2 interface the number of total available metadata is false.
I checked the desired total number of metadata with an external post request. Geonetwork should recognize more metadata than listed at the harvesting results.

I wonder how the available number of metadata of a CSW is specified in Geonetwork.
Missing XML files are valid.

Does Geonetwork perform an internal validation?
If so how is the procedure of validation?

Indeed, it could be an explanation why harvesting Geonetwork's 'Total'
results differ from desired total number of metadata provided by a CSW
2.0.2.

I'll focus Geonetwork's next release.
