Hi list,
I have a rather big catalog with 60K metadata in it and I'm experiencing
some weird behavior when doing a complete reindex. The
threadedindexing/maxthreads setting doesn't seem to have any effect. If
I choose 4 or 8 (given that my server has 8 cores), the process still
runs on only 2 cores (the load average is even less than 2) and doesn't
speed up in any way.
Is there another setting or thing to do to really make the reindex
process use several cores ?
Thanks
Guillaume

It looks like we properly create threads as defined in the settings. eg if
set to 4 threads and indexing:

You are not using H2 ? "Note: this option is only available for databases
that have been tested. Those databases are PostGIS and Oracle."

Cheers.

Thanks
