Why doesn't anyone check new users? I have been trying to post here and
nobody has accepted my post. I have subscribed and I am sure the board has
not been down for 2 weeks since my original post.

Dear Andrew,
I'm sorry to hear you face a problem with the mailing list.
We do monitor the lists I am not sure what happened to your first email though. Our lists are setup to work without any admin intervention. People have to subscribe and can then post email. People can't send email without subscribing first. Email will simply be rejected in case you do post without subscribing. The poster will receive a warning about this behavior.
I have no clue what process has treated your first post Could you provide me more details about what you did?
Finally I suggest you post your question again so people can actually react to it.
Kind regards,
Jeroen

Hi Andrew,
I have not seen any post from you here, but saw Jeroen's reply... so I'm responding to the subject line.
Here is a site with a Genotework node containing reports as well as datasets, and there is a custom browse/search tool for general access on top of this:
Note that this site is actually running Bluenet MEST, a Geonetwork fork supporting the MCP profile, but also works with Geonetwork trunk.
The actual node:
https://secure.niwa.co.nz/boi_dc/srv/en/main.home
The custom tool accessing the Geonetwork node directly, for simplified read only access:
http://www.os2020.org.nz/data-and-reports/
If this is along the lines of what you want to do, and you have any questions, feel free to ask...
