I've uploaded some service metadata records into geonetwork which includes
various srv:operatesOn elements in the following format (eg specifying
uuidef xlink:href and xlink:title attributes):
...
<srv:operatesOn xlink:title="BGS.1M.surface.GeologicUnit"
xlink:href="http://ogcdev.bgs.ac.uk/geonetwork/srv/en/csw?SERVICE=CSW&REQUEST=GetRecordById&ID=9df8df52-d788-37a8-e044-0003ba9b0d98&elementSetName=full&OutputSchema=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&"
uuidref="9df8df52-d788-37a8-e044-0003ba9b0d98"/>
...
When I try to harvest these records using CSW eg as:
http://ogcdev.bgs.ac.uk/geonetwork/srv/en/csw?SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&REQUEST=GetRecordById&ID=a0a82d76-657c-2a78-e044-0003ba9b0d98&elementSetName=full&OutputSchema=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&
The record returned is not the same as I have uploaded it. Instead GN
substitutes the full gmd:MD_Metadata record for the layer-dataset, and
strips out the xlink:href and xlink:title attributes.
How do I force the CSW response to be my uploaded record?
Thanks
James

Hello,
2011/5/3 nmtoken <jpass@anonymised.com>:
I've uploaded some service metadata records into geonetwork which includes

<srv:operatesOn xlink:title="BGS.1M.surface.GeologicUnit"

uuidref="9df8df52-d788-37a8-e044-0003ba9b0d98"/>
...
When I try to harvest these records using CSW eg as:

The record returned is not the same as I have uploaded it. Instead GN
substitutes the full gmd:MD_Metadata record for the layer-dataset, and

You probably have the XLink resolver turned on. Try to turn it off
from the administration settings panel.
HTH.

How do I force the CSW response to be my uploaded record?
