[GeoNetwork-users] Is there a file with a PID in it for the GeoNetwork process [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Hi All,

It appears that the GeoNetwork that we have setup often stops working. Maybe it is a configuration or a settling in issue. I don't know but what I would like to do is run a script that tells me if GeoNetwork is still running and if not then start up the tomcat instance for GeoNetwork.

I can do this by listing the processes and checking if there is one running for GN. If not then I can run the GN start-up script.

I could also store the PID in a file and then check if that file has content. Etc.

Is there a file that contains the PID for the GN tomcat instance? If so where and what is the name of that file?

Thanks.
