[GeoNetwork-users] ISO19115 template and Transformer...error

I am fairly new to digging in to GeoNetwork. We are running on 2.6 but development was done by others in our group, so to get up to speed I decided to install 2.8.0.0 and attempt to work on some configuration changes and use that as a test environment. Thus two questions to start with:

1) When I open the admin module on the web there is a new option to add an ISO19115 template. However, it does not add it. I get no error on the process but when I then go to add metadata, it tells me there is no template available. When I look in the schema directory, there is a directory there for ISO19115 but it definitely doesn't have all the same files as the ISO19139.
Is there a template missing that I can get from somewhere else? I know how to create my own template using the ISO19139vector, I just was happy to see it on the new selection dropdown and wondering why it is not functional.

2) When I attempt to move the build to a different platform (e.g. to another pc), I get the error that others have noted > TransformerConfigurationException Failed to compile stylesheet.

I probably am trying to do something that is not normally done which is put a copy between two different desktops for testing, but am wondering if there is another tweak I can do to the config files to make that work? I did try to edit the schemaplugin-uri-catalog.xml to make sure there weren't duplicate entries (and to remove a couple of instances of absolute paths). I see in the commits that this problem is 'fixed' but being new to this wasn't sure if that meant that it is fixed in future releases or if there is something else I need to do.

TIA!
