Hi all,
I'm a Desktop Support Tech, and I've been asked to upgrade my company's installation of GeoNetworks.
We currently have a much older version and want to go to 3.0.4.
I hadn't realized that the model had changed from local exe to local (tomcat?) server-based.
Every attempt to run the startup batch file has failed; it never gets far enough to start the server.
Also, I'm not trained in Java at all, so it's been an uphill battle so far.
I've narrowed everything down to OutofMemory errors, but I currently have the Java heap size set to -Xmx1536m.
Something doesn't seem right; does it really need more than that?
(I did try 2g, but it failed miserably; Java exception right away.)
What am I missing here?
Thanks,
