[GeoNetwork-users] Keyword thesauri for ISO19115:2003

Hi there,

I'm searching for existing vocabulary lists/thesauri used as keyword
thesauri for the different keyword types in ISO19115 - theme, place,
disciplines, temporal and stratum.

The FAO's AGROVOC can be used for 'theme' keywords, and terms relevant for
'disciplines' and 'place' can also be extracted from the latter.

While temporal and stratum type keywords are not included in AGROVOC, nor
GEMET, useful lists are provided by the Oregon Geospatial Enterprise Office
of the Oregon State Government (http://gis.oregon.gov/thesaurus) and the GIS
unit of the Oregon Department of Forestry
(http://www.odf.state.or.us/gis/docs/metadata_keywords.doc ).

Is anyone aware of other existing lists/thesauri that might prove useful for
ISO19115 keyword types?

Has anyone used the GEMET thesaurus (http://www.eionet.europa.eu/gemet) in
GeoNetwork?

Cheers,
Richard

Have a look here [1]. In trunk, there is a one click install for some
sample thesauri from the admin interface [2].

Cheers.

Thanks Francois.

How would I enable the URL option as shown in the image at
http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/attachment/ticket/355/thesaurus-from-url.png

For example, I've added the following to config-gui.xml, restarted
GeoNetwork, but still don't see the URL option.

INSPIRE Themes (in all EU languages)

This feature is not in 2.6, it will be in coming 2.7.x series but you
could manually download the rdf file and upload it from the admin
interface (or copy to the codelist directory - this second option
needs a restart).

Cheers.
