[GeoNetwork-users] Layers Replied on Overlay Folder

Hello! I installed Linux CentOS 2.8 in Geonetwork, and I have a strange
problem. Layers that are inside the folder of the main map overlays, are
multiplying. Each time soon in Geonetwork Layers are organized more
replicated. Already checked the configuration of the layers in the file
config-GUI.xml and everything is normal. Can anyone help?

Thank you.

I also have the same problem (Geonetwork 2.8.0). Did you find any solution?

Leonidas, unfortunately no one answered. I'm suspicious of this forum,
because I have done several questions and got no answer yet. Is this group
alive?

Yes the group is alive, maybe there is no answer yet for our problem. We can
also try to ask at http://gis.stackexchange.com

hi Leonidas,

this list has received 261 messages in the past 365 days. Of those, 116
received 0 replies - so your chance of getting a reply is about 56%.

There may be room for improvement there, but the list is certainly not
"dead".

You might also consider mailing to the GeoNetwork developer's list or to
the French or Spanish users' lists if you speak your languages. Though
cross-posting is of course frowned-upon; you might also try re-posting to
this users' list if you have no reply after some time -- maybe one of the
few people who could answer you missed the first time.

Note that unlike some other open source projects. there is no Big Company
sponsoring GeoNetwork development or mailing list answers. People do their
best if they can help you; and this is all voluntarily, spare-time effort.

Kind regards,
Heikki Doeleman

I have finally managed to authenticate using AD authentication with our
Geoportal 1.2.2 installation.
My next step is to try and register the WMS services on our internal
ArcGIS 10.0 server.
When following these instructions

1. Log in to your geoportal. Click Administration. Click Add. Make sure
Register resource on the network is selected and click Proceed.
2. Select Protocol Type ArcGIS.
3. In REST URL, type http://<<internal GIS Server>>/ArcGIS/rest/services/.

4. In SOAP URL, type http://<<internal GIS Server>>/ArcGIS/services/.
5. In title, type Services from <<internal GIS Server>>.
Click Test to verify the connection. A green banner with "Connection
successfully verified" should appear.

Test does not work. I get "Unable to connect to host."

I then click the save button and receive the following error in the
gpt.*.log

INFO: No credentials available for NTLM <any
realm>@arcgisserverdev.dpi.nsw.gov.au:80
Jun 05, 2013 3:47:56 PM com.esri.gpt.framework.jsf.BaseActionListener
handleException
SEVERE: Exception raised.
com.esri.arcgisws.runtime.exception.ArcGISWebServiceException: HTTP status
code {401 - Unauthorized} received from server

I am logged in as myself which has admin access to to GIS server. I can
see that my credentials are not passed through to our internal GIS Server.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi

It's fixed (see https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/issues/116).
Next release will contain the fix.
