I'm working on a multi-tool web portal witch include Geonetwork catalog, forum, web mapping with right management. Is it possible to log user into geonetwork from a previous authentification on the portal without having to log with username and password on the geonetwork home page.

hello,
we will do a similar approach in the next half year. we want to integrate
geonetwork in our geoportal as a metadataeditor and -harvester. our portal is
php/postgres/mysql/apache/typo3 based and we have to integrate this
components with geonetworks java framework. for stability geonetwork should
run on another physical server. to do the integration, we plan to use
http://php-java-bridge.sourceforge.net/pjb/ for controlling the java sessions
by our php based portal.
this is the idea - the realization must be done
