[GeoNetwork-users] login required

Dear all,

We have installed geonetwork for use on our intranet. If you run Geonetwork
now you are required to login to query our data base. However, if I look at
public Geonetwork sites such as the FAO site
http://www.fao.org/geonetwork/srv/en/main.home you don't need to login to
query which makes it easy. How an this be done?

With regards,

Klaus

Hi Klaus,

Maybe I don't understand your problem correctely. But to make metadata
visible for the common public, meaning to users without any registration on
the system, the metadata need to have the privilege "Publish" assigned to
the group "all" respectively "Intranet".

Regards
Antonio
