[GeoNetwork-users] Manage thesauri issue

I attempted to load the GCMD keywords (sciencekeywords.rdf) from
http://gcmdservices.gsfc.nasa.gov/static/kms/sciencekeywords/ using the
manage thesauri and got an error.

After downloading and looking at the file I noticed that there is the
following at the top of the file which does not seem to be SKOS compliant

So I removed it then tried to upload the fixed file. But now I get the
following error.

It complains that it already exist however I don't have any option to remove
it.

Anyone know how to remove this manually so I can reload the corrected
version?

using version: Geonetwork 2.8.0

Thank you

You should be able to remove it from WEB-INF/data/config/codelist probably

local/theme folder.

HTH.

Francois,

Nope - that did not solve the issue. As this was a test instance I ended up
re-installing geonetwork to get it to load.

Now that I have the correct one loaded - I did a test where I tried to
reload it without deleting it using the interface. I deleted the RDF file
from local/theme as you suggested and it fails to load. Deleting the file
did not affect the interface - I could still see the information. I was able
to reload it if I deleted the entry using the web interface.

So it seems like the thesauri information is stored somewhere else. I did a
text search on the file system for sciencekeywords and I checked the
database tables and did not see anything.

After looking a little more into the initial error (see below) it looks like
openrdf may be creating a repository even though there were errors. I'm not
sure where this repository is stored.
I will try to look into some more....

hum, even if restarting the catalog ? thesaurus should be initialized on
startup.

Francois,

Yep - removing the file and then restarting geonetwork fixed the issue.
But is is still a bug and I may look into it when I get time...

Thanks.

Ian, I made a ticket for the record
http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/ticket/1252 but I did not find why it's
failing to load.
