[GeoNetwork-users] Massive Xsl Processing.

Further to this... I can get a selection into the session by doing a
search and selecting from the results. If I then, in the same session,
go directly to
http://localhost:8080/geonetwork/srv/en/metadata.massive.processing?proc
ess=keywords-comma-exploder (by pasting in the url) then I get a java
ConcurrentModificationException, but at least I am in the right class!

If I don't do the selection, then I get an xml response telling me that
the processing was done on zero records.

Clearly I am not doing this the right way!

Can anyone tell me how one should drive this process?

Thanks,

Justin.

Hallo all,

I am trying to use the various MassiveXslProcessing facility, but having
difficulty. Has anyone any experience for a quick discussion please?

Specifically, I need to implement a Search and Replace function. I can
write the xsl, put it in the right place, but I can't work out how to
give it a selection of documents to work with.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Justin.

Are you sure you are not editing one selected record in another tab of your
browser or something similar to that?
Please have a look at the logs to tell us what's going wrong with that.

Indeed, you have to select records before processing them.

Cheers,

Mathieu

Justin, sorry for Jules, I'm confused!

Hurrah!!!

Thanks to you, it works: I closed all other tabs and no
ConcurrentModificationException, just a nice XML response telling me I
have altered one document.

Great!

Next, to try and do a SearchAndReplace (parameter driven).

After that, UI considerations. I'd still appreciate your confirmation
that there is no present way to access these options through the
existing html UI.

Indeed, I can confirm you that there is no specific UI for that
functionnality.
Only URL process for the time being.

Ciao,

Mathieu

Thanks again.
Justin.
