I insert 2 metadatas (using some template). The content is the same but
translated into 2 different languages. And then when viewing the metadata
i'd like to view an apropriate metadata according to the currently selected
language. So if i set the language to english i'd like to see the english
version of metadata and if i set the german language, i'd like to see the
translated, german version of the metadata.
I would say you don't need to have 2 different metadata records, you only
need one with multilingual content.
You could try to use the template "Template for Vector data in ISO19139
(multilingual)" to create such a metadata.
Then, you will be able to view the metadata content according to the
currently selected language.
