Subject: Re: [GeoNetwork-users] Migrate from GPT3.1 to GN2.4.2
Hi Sidney
In this URL http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/wiki/interop_matrix , there're
some CSW server urls, included ESRI CSW servers.
Also in one server I tested the next URL format was used (althought is quite
old, CSW 2.0.0):
http://SERVER/aimscsw/csw2.0?request=GetCapabilities&version=2.0.0&service=CSW
Hope can be helpful.
Regards,
Jose Garcia

hi Sidney,
I'm not familiar with GIS portal toolkit 3.1, but if it has a CSW server
capability then why not use GeoNetwork as a CSW client to harvest the data
from it ?
In GeoNetwork, log in as admin user, go to Harvesting Management, and set
up
a CSW harvester pointing to your GPT installation.
If all goes well it should make copies of your metadata from GPT into
GeoNetwork.
Then, assuming you want to do this just once as a migration step, you'd
need
to do some SQL queries to the database directly, to make GeoNetwork forget
this was harvested metadata and believe itself is the "source" -- otherwise
you can't edit them for example, and also because they would all be deleted
if you deleted that CSW harvester config.
Does this help ?
Kind regards
