Hi, I have just a quick question.
If I have defined groups, categories and also templates in geonetwork on one
computer and I now install geonetwork on a different computer, is it
possible to move the files that define the groups, categories and templates
to the other computer, or do I have to set up everything again? If it is
possible, which files do I have to move?

it sounds like the easiest would be for you to just dump the complete
contents of your database, and import that into the database on your other
machine.

I copied all the content of the geonetwork\gast\setup folder onto the other
computer, but my defined groups, categories and templated are still not
included when I open geonetwork.
Any other idea what I could do?

I presume that heikki was speaking about database dump...and not file system
copy.
Using Druid [1] you will be able to do this easily.
