Hi,
This is my first message to the list and first of all I want to
congratulate you for the project, it looks really nice.
I am about to start experimenting with it and I am using the embeded
database that it includes. My question is if I will be able to export
this database into MySQL or PostgreSQL later.
For the amount of data that I am considering to enter in geonetworks I
think the embeded database should be more than enough, but I just feel
scare of not being able to later take it out if I want to move to
something else.
Thanks.
Javier.
Hi Javier!
Yes, you can export the records from the database and import them in the new DBMS. You could for instance use Druid to do this. There's info on this on the Community website.
Ciao,
Jeroen
