[GeoNetwork-users] Multilingual template: Portuguese version not displaying

Hi there,

I'm trying to incorporate English, French and Portuguese into GN .

I'm using the multilingual ISO19139 template and insert English, French and
Portuguese terms.

However, on searching for the record with the GN language set to Portuguese,
the English record is shown. I've tried repeatedly but I can't get the
Portuguese version of the record to display.

When French language is selected for the GN system the French version of the
record in displayed as expected.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

Thanks, Rich.

PS. If I don't use the multilingual template, I guess that I'd need a
separate record for each language version, but then all records could
potentially display if a word common to all languages is searched.

After saving the record with Portuguese language set, the Portuguese content
is not displayed, instead English content is displayed in the Portuguese
template.

Thanks Francois. That fixed it.

One other query - is it possible to convert/import vector ISO19139 records
into multilingual vector ISO19139 in GN?

Cheers,
Richard

It's better to open a new thread for new question. But basically, if
you want to make the default vector template multilingual, search for
the template and update it.

Cheers.
