[GeoNetwork-users] NAP 1.2.1

Good evening:

Is there anyone working on a template for the new NAP 1.2.1 (North American Profile of ISO 19115:2003 --Geographic Information --Metadata (NAP--Metadata) that was published in May 2009 by the Canadian General Standards Board?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hi Trudy and others,
It would indeed be good to understand if anyone already implemented a template that complies to the American profile. If available, we could include that template as a standard option in the GeoNetwork release.
Greetings,
Jeroen

Hi Jeroen:

This is good to know. Some of us are going to move in this direction, and if we do create a template, it would be great to share it in GeoNetwork.

Cheers,
Trudy

Hi Trudy,
Excellent! Don't hesitate to connect with the developer community on that aspect (or any other aspect  ). These type of improvements definitely benefit a wider audience.
Cheers,
Jeroen

Did anyone ever create a NAP template? If so, does anyone know which version
of Geonetwork was it first included with?

Thanks!
Tom

Is there a template available for ISO 19115:2003/North American Profile (NAP)
for use in Geonetwork?

Hi

In https://github.com/geonetwork/schema-plugins/ there's a schema for NAP
(iso19139.napm).

You may find this document that details the differences between ISO 19115
and the NAP profile useful
