[GeoNetwork-users] Noob with questions

I have just been hired as a Data Archavist at a facility using
GeoNetwork. My job is to help people using the program to get their data
(especially the metadata) entered correctly. Thus I'm working at really
learning the program, not just getting it to work once or twice. I've
read the manual and entered my own data and have some questions that
no-one here can answer. I was hoping to get some help here. I collected
them together here and I hope the length of this post doesn't put anyone
off.

First off, the links regarding the ISO19115 metadata standard (in the
links page) are dead. When I click on them I get " The requested
resource
(/geonetwork/html/en/UN_ISO_19115_metadata_template_draft_version_1.0.xml','XML) is not available." for all 3 links in that section. Is there some way to re-establish them? If not how can I remove them from the page?

second, some menus have options we do not offer. Under 'Presentation
form', some of the menu options are 'hardcopy'. We do not have the
capability to store and download hardcopy. How can these menu options be
removed?

third, What is the difference between access and user constraints? They
both have the same menu. What would it mean if different values were
chosen? (such as access:copyright and user:patent - what would
user:patent mean?) I think I'm probably not understanding the access and
user terms correctly.

Fourth, what is the difference between 'contact' on the top of the form
and 'contact' under Metadata on the bottom of the form? Is the lower one
asking who is filling out the form?

Fifth, is there a way to enter several geographic points in the extent
box? I have 3 radars and I'd like to put a point on the map for each.
After entering the first I hit the '+' box and got a box asking for
minimum and maximum values. Minimum and maximum of what?

sixth, the denominator value is required. Is there any way to make this
optional? Much of the data we are archiving is not maps and it doesn't
make sense to ask for the denominator on a file containing a table of
temperatures. I've been telling people just to put a 1 there, but it
would be nice not to have to do that.

seventh, under distribution, there are 3 boxes labeled online resources
that are used to upload the data files. What do we do if there is only 1
file to upload? What goes in the other 2 required boxes? How do I add
more of these boxes if there is more than 3 files? Hitting the '+' box
gives another box labeled transfer options, but nothing is in it.

finally I was having trouble with the map. Sometimes the boxes that take
the boundaries do not allow me to enter numbers. Specifically this seems
to happen when I have made a mistake and have to go back and change the
values. I may have navigated away from the map between the entering and
the changing, I'm not sure. When that happened the only way I could get
in to fix it was to completely delete the file and start over. It has
happened to me 3 or 4 times and I'm dreading having someone call for
help on this matter.

Thanks for taking time to read this long post and I appreciate help on
any of these questions.
