Hi everybody

I ask if possible configure email notifications each time it has created a
new metadata?

Likewise whenever a metadata changes state, eg, reviewed, approved,
published

Hi

For metadata status changes, there're some mail notifications defined. See:

https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/blob/2.10.x/web/src/main/java/org/fao/geonet/services/metadata/DefaultStatusActions.java#L166

Depending on the status change, the content reviewers or metadata owners
are notified.

For new created records, afaik there's no notification defined.

Hi

That actions are already available. You need to configure the mail server
in the server configuration and define the content reviewers for the
metadata groups. If users have a mail address and you enable the workflow
in a metadata record, on any of the metadata status changes a mail should
be send to the related users (content reviewers/owners of the metadata).

understand which one is the SMTP Port for example of an email account gmail,
can you help with this configuration.

This is my configuration:

Mail: xxxxxxxxx@anonymised.com
Server SMTP: smtp.gmail.com
Port SMTP: 25 ?

Somewhere you need to specify the password for the email account ??? To make
deliveries ???

Hi

In version 2.10.X, there's no option in the mail configuration for the user
password and SSL flag. This has been improved for next version.
