[GeoNetwork-users] Occasional error message about Proj4js

Hi All,

I am seeing an occasional error message in geonetwork: "you do not have the
correct permissions to access the following service
/geonetwork/srv/eng/defs/EPSG27700.js". I can then continue to access the
application as normal. I haven't been able to reproduce a condition that
causes this reliably, and the only evidence for it is in the access logs,
where it shows up as a 403 error. There are no errors in either
geonetwork.log or catalina.out for the same time period.

I know there's no such file as /defs/EPSG27700.js, and that in actual fact
it's trying to reach http://spatialreference.org/ref/epsg/27700/proj4js/.
I can see this being set up in proj4js-compressed.js and I can see that
https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/blob/2.10.x/web/src/main/webapp/xsl/geo/utils.xsl
seems to be the file that calls proj4js-compressed.js, and sets up the
proj4js.defs string.

I have been asked to remove this error, but I'm not sure what the best
approach would be, or how to investigate what might be triggering it. Does
anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Jo
