We have a geonetwork installation and other applications that point to metadata records stored in the catalogue. I am noticing very different behaviours with browsers with Chrome being problematic.
To reproduce
Open a new tab in Chrome. Enter https://data.gns.cri.nz/metadata/srv/eng/search?#<https://data.gns.cri.nz/metadata/srv/eng/search?>|F7A105AA\-DE83\-46D2\-BA7C\-1E434710BD8B as the URL.
What I see the search window, no record. Click on any record in the latest/popular panel (eg 1:250,000 dykes). It shows metadata for that. Now go back (del or browswer back button)- I now get the metadata record for NZ petroleum infrastructure that I wanted in the first place. But note, no search panel at the top.
Do same on firefox or IE and you go direct to the NZ petroleum infrastructure but with the search panel on top.
What is going on?
