I'm wondering whether anyone would have detailed instructions on how to
install Geonetwork with Postgres on Windows. I've found Heikki and Jose's
tutorial but it's for Linux-Ubuntu...
I'm on Tomcat 6 if that's of any interest for the matter

Hi Timothee
I think you can use most of the tutorial instructions for Postgres in
Windows.
* Path files like pg_hba.conf, etc. are different but changes to the files
content are the same.
* Also psql is available in windows so sql statements can be used in same
way as described in tutorial or if you prefer from pgAdmin.
* Config.xml changes in GeoNetwork are the same in Windows as described in
tutorial.
If you need PostGis, the windows installer offers to install it, so can
ignore the section "Setup postgis in postgres", but the rest of
configuration should be similar
