Hi,
I'm trying to migrate a whole database (postgresql) someone else
created using with GN into mine (GN+postgresql).
With the database dump file (pg_dumpall result) I got, I used "psql
-f" utility to migrate it into my postgresql database.
Then, I restarted the database and GN, followed by "Rebuild Lucene
index" on the GN admin menu.
I then checked and confirmed the all records were searchable from GN GUI.
However, I happened to perform "Rebuild Lucene index" again which
completed successfully.
As it happened, large part became missing from the search result.
"Rebuild Lucene index" issues an error "Index operation failed" since then.
I ended up in the exact same situation when I did this migration from scratch.
Am I not supposed to do the operation like above?
I would appreciate your knowledge and your experience if you have done
similar operation.
Thanks,
Yoshi
hi,
could you please check the GeoNetwork log files to see if there's a
stacktrace when you do "Rebuild Lucene Index" and get "Index operation
failed" ?
Kind regards
Heikki Doeleman
