Hi Heikki,
I was also really surprised to find that this issue is "probably linked" to browsers, especially due to the fact that Safari is quite common now.
I used Safari 4.0.3 on MacOS 10.5.8
I've just tested on my iPhone, with Safari Mobile and I've raised the same issue...
Hope this could help you
Regards
Greg

hi Gregory and everyone,
this is interesting. Did anyone else notice this ? Then we should really look into it, I think.
I don't think GeoNetwork states which browsers it supposedly supports, but Safari is common enough for us to want to support it, what with everybody's iPhone and such. Which version of Safari are you using, on which OS ?
Kind regards

Dear all,
Just to inform you that I've found the solution of the problem.
This is an issue due to the Safari browser. I've tested the
application on Firefox and everything works fine
All the best
