[GeoNetwork-users] publishing WMS metadata

I am new to the GeoNetwork community and just started playing with it last week. However, I've been involved with geospatial metadata and GIS for about 10 years now and like what I see so far in GeoNetwork. A lot of functionality, clean, open, small footprint, etc....

I realize that version 2.1 is still in development and that more documentation will be released once it goes final. My question is how do I publish metadata referencing WMS or ArcIMS map services? In an Edit window, once I set the protocol to the appropriate type of service, what else is required? Thanks.

I started playing with it yesterday, and I agree that the documentation could
have been better.
Regarding WMS metadata I learned it from the sample metadata.
The WMS URL have to be the "base" URL, the URL until the ?
e.g http://193.43.36.137/ows/296
The Protocol field have to OGC Web Map Service.
The Name field is the name of layer you want to fetch from the WMS.

ArcIMS is unknown to me.
