Hello All.
First, let me say that I made a search and found several solutions to this
problem, one being the resettlement of GeoNetwork.
However, my situation is a little different. I am developing a translation
of GeoNetwork to Portuguese of Brazil, and each amendment, I was testing,
but do not restart any time the GeoNetwork. I am adding a language, so I
created a folder called 'pt_BR' in the 'loc' folder of GeoNetwork with the
files translated, and added the data in the database (PostgreSQL) with
translations. Everything worked perfectly until I restart the GeoNetwork.
The interface displays the translation correctly, but when I perform a
search or logging, returns the 'NullPointerException'.
I wonder if there is any other option than to reinstall the GeoNetwork,
because if I have to do this, I lose a few days of work, because in addition
to the files in the folder loc, other files need to be edited so that the
translation is correct.
I await a response.
Thank you, and sorry for my poor english.

bom dia Fabio,
can you post the stacktrace of the NullPointerException you're getting ?
It's probably in Jetty's console window, or look in
<installation-dir>/jetty/log/geonetwork.log.
kind regards
