[GeoNetwork-users] search results

Hi all

I created a schema called iso19139.mim (MIM stands for Model Instance Metadata)

This includes amongst other things elements

            <mim:inputs>
                        <mim:input>
                                    ...
                        <mim:input>
                                    ...
            <mim:outputs>
                        <mim:output>
                                    ...
                        <mim:output>
                                    ...

These appear fine - and properly structured - in the ISOAll and Content Info views in the Administration -> My metadata view.

But the nested data structure is not shown on the search results page - this only shows the content of each <input> and <output> element but not enclosed in the input/output hierarchical structure.

Can anyone tell me - in simple terms because I am a bear of very little brain - what I need to do to change the search results view so it shows:

Inputs
            input
                        ...
            input
                        ...

Outputs
            output
                        ...
            output
                        ...

I hope this makes sense :-}

Or perhaps you know someone who can help? Or whoever wrote the documentation?

Many thanks

in desperate hope

Paul

Can you provide the changes done to display these elements, to check?

Depends on which UI you're using, for the classic one (no ExtJs), afaik the
search results uses the brief mode. In your metadata you should have a
brief template that most probably delegates to the iso19139 brief mode and
does some additional stuff you probably added. Check that the brief
template, returns the inputs and outputs elements, so can be used in the
search results.
