Hi all,
I'm currently using the docker official docker image from GeoNetwork [geonetwork:3.4-postgres] to build a small SDI where I work.
But I'm having a problem to use the spatial filter on the search page. After I insert or update a metadata I'm not able to draw a polygon that intersect the bounding box from the metadata and get the metadata as the result (even with the orange outlines from the extents of the metadata been showing).
I'm able to see the bounding box of the metadata (the orange outlines) but when I try to draw a area to find the metadata it return no values. And this problem only happens when I need to update or insert a new metadata.
What I'm doing to fix it, is delete the index folder (/var/lib/geonetwork_data/index) and restart the docker container. Then, I believe that when GeoNetwork reconstruct the index folder this issues area fixed.
Does anybody already had a similar issue or can give me a hint on what I can check?
It's not a headache, I'm going to construct a script to delete the index folder and restart the GeoNetwork instance every night. But I was wondering if there is a more correct approach.
Many thanks!

HI, I also observed that in some configuration without figuring out why
this is happening. A workaround was proposed yesterday here
https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/pull/2516. The issue looks to
be related to the spatialindex.fix index file created by GeoTools to query
by feature identifier.
