I'm currently installing Geonetwork for a project that would like to go live in about 2-3 months (possibly a couple more if real life interferes, as it usually does.)
What is the status of the next release of GN? Would you recommend staying with 2.2 and migrate when the next version goes final? Or maybe get the latest out of trunk now? The last option only seems viable if there's been significant changes since 2.2 went final. Thanks for your advice.

No-one ever replied to this. Any ideas? I'm also interested, in order to plan
ahead.

Hi,
I don't have much insight but I personally would go with the 2.2. http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/roadmap has no date for the 2.3 nor 3.0
yet, even for their release candidates.
