[GeoNetwork-users] Thumbnails

Dear all,

I am using Geonetwork 3.0.2 and I have a problem with Thumbnails: The uploaded Thumbnail can not be displayed.
I think the reason for that is, that the path to the Thumbnail is not given correctly:
http://localhost:8080/geonetwork/srv/ger//resources.get?uuid=377ca4de-70e7-11e5-a48c-005056c00008&fname=TUR500.jpg

I tried this path:
http://mycatalogserverIP:8080/geonetwork/srv/ger//resources.get?uuid=377ca4de-70e7-11e5-a48c-005056c00008&fname=TUR500.jpg
Then the thumbnail is shown correctly.

So why is the path of the thumbnail image saved incorrect to the metadata? And how can I fix this?

Hi Sabine,

maybe its the server host configuration in system settings
http://geonetwork-opensource.org/manuals/trunk/eng/users/administrator-guide/configuring-the-catalog/system-configuration.html#catalog-server

after changing host from localhost to mycatalogserverIP there should be
the option to update existing metadata
