Hi -
I downloaded the installer jar and ran the installer.
java -jar geonetwork-install-2.4.2-0.jar
It got to the point where it says that installation is complete, after the core, sample metadata, geoserver and CSW test client packs are installed. Then the only option is to quit. However, then when I go to /usr/local/geonetwork, I find the file bin/geoserver-start.sh. That script will not run. It says it cannot find the 'logs' directory. There is a 'logs' directory in the jetty subdirectory, but the script will not run there either.
Am I doing something wrong? The instructions seem to suggest that the installation process goes on a bit longer, and allows you to set user name and password, for example.
