Hi Folks,
From time to time I like to ask stupids questions hopefully I will get a deserving answer
If one writes metadata for a shape file then uploads it onto GN. Can it be viewed with the native GN viewer or do I still need to e running a mapserver ?
Sean
Hello Sean,
You can make the link to the shapefile in your metadata in order that it
will be integrated on the embedded intermap, but the shapefile must be
contained on a map server.
As example if your version is upper 2.1 you can use the one installed with
geonetwork named ยซ geoserver ยป.
You can access it using the context /geoserver
Best regards Fabien Bachraty.
