We have a researcher who recently died, and are attempting to put his
life's work into our archive. Any suggestions on what to put in for
point of contact?
Hi Karen,
If you are entering the information and you are the pointOfContact, or
have another responsibility then enter your details or the details of
the organisation for which you work. In that case the role would be
either: resourceProvider, custodian, pointOfContact, publisher, etc. but
not 'author' as he has passed away.
You can enter the information about the 'author' and in his contact
details you may choose the 'nilReason' attribute to be 'withheld' or
'missing'.
