[GeoNetwork-users] Wrong link on GeoNetwork API documentation web site

Hello,

I'm interested to have a look on GeoNetwork API documentation, but from the website ((http://geonetwork-opensource.org/manuals/3.0.5/eng/users/api/the-geonetwork-api.html same from github) the link to the draft doc refers to a localhost url : http://localhost:8080/geonetwork/doc/api/

How can I get the draft doc ?

Thanks,

Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,

I think that document is only valid for Geonetwork 3.2+, not 3.0.+. On my
3.2.x installation the API documentation is indeed at
http://myurl/geonetwork/doc/api/, but it's not present on a 3.0.x
installation that I run. I've just submitted a pull request to get that
clarified in the documentation.

Regards

Jo

Hi all,

you are right, http://myurl/geonetwork/doc/api gives the API documentation on my Geonetwork 3.2.2 ;
but did you succeed in using this geonetwork API ?

so as to test it, i am using the pluginHttpRequester for Mozilla <https://www.google.fr/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiGkoPWwMfWAhVLORQKHf4uDBQQFggnMAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Faddons.mozilla.org%2Ffr%2Ffirefox%2Faddon%2Fhttprequester%2F&usg=AFQjCNHFZ7-qUAxn-0ETL27td8_sL-ZZLQ>so as to be able to execute GET or PUT requests, but nothing works ! :-\

i only get HTML errors :
GET http://localhost:8080/geonetwork/srv/api/0.1/me -> error 406
GET http://localhost:8080/geonetwork/srv/api/0.1/search/ping -> error 406

but requests without the API gives the correct responses, of course...
GET http://localhost:8080/geonetwork/srv/csw -> 202 OK

can you tell me what I do not understand, please ?

thanks in advance,

Ernest.
