[GeoNetwork-users] xml validate

Hi all,
I'm trying to validate an .xml metadata file (template) but the last version of Geonetwork does not validate my metadata.
These are the errors:

XSD Validation error(s)

ERROR(1) org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'gml:TimePeriod'. One of '{"http://www.opengis.net/gml":AbstractTimePrimitive\}' is expected. (Element: gml:TimePeriod with parent element: gmd:extent)

ERROR(2) org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-elt.4.2: Cannot resolve 'gml:TimePeriodType' to a type definition for element 'gml:TimePeriod'. (Element: gml:TimePeriod with parent element: gmd:extent)

ERROR(3) org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-elt.4.2: Cannot resolve 'DQ_DomainConsistency_Type' to a type definition for element 'gmd:DQ_DomainConsistency'. (Element: gmd:DQ_DomainConsistency with parent element: gmd:report)

ERROR(4) org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-elt.4.2: Cannot resolve 'DQ_ConformanceResult_Type' to a type definition for element 'gmd:DQ_ConformanceResult'. (Element: gmd:DQ_ConformanceResult with parent element: gmd:result)

Any help or suggestions to validate that file would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Marco

Hi Ozan,
Thank you for your reply.
I created that xml file as a combination between an .xml file created by
Geonetwork and an .xml file created by Inspire geoportal.
Some websites suitable to validate .xml accept and validate my .xml
(http://www.w3schools.com/XML/xml_validator.asp), others do not validate my
.xml (http://www.validome.org/xml/).
Geonetwork accepts my .xml file (it permits me to create a metadata), it
should mean that for its it is correct, but not valid.
I hope to have been more clear. (Of course i'm not an expert...you know).
Thanks.
Best Regards
Marco

Hi Marco,
First of all how did you create that xml file?
It seems that your xml is not valid. You should check the related xml
elements for the errors and put missing or correct elements in your
document.
