[GeoNetwork-users] XPathException template not defined error (GN 2.10)

In an attempt to test a schema, I uploaded the schema from github and everything looked fine until I hit the home link and now continually get this error when logging in to Admin >

XPathException : Template [...] has not been defined

The last time this happened the solution someone sent was the following, and it worked for me with a local copy of GN >

I've got the same error and solved it by removing config/schema_plugins and config/schemaplugin-uri->>>catalog.xml from my (external) Geonetwork data directory. After that, I've copied over the same files from >>>the Geonetwork-2.10.1.war and restarted Tomcat.

Unfortunately it is still giving me the error after doing this on my server version. It seems that there is some cache somewhere that even if I delete the schema in question it still thinks it is there even after a start/stop of GN. I did check the schemaplugin-uri-catalog.xml and the name of the now removed schema is not in there.

Any manual step I can take to clean this up?

This is pretty urgent since I cannot use Admin and I really do not want to make my sysadmin do a total restore of the site from backup just for this issue.

TIA!

Kathy
