Dear members of the list,
Has anyone successfully harvest metadata through the Z3950 option in
'Harvesting management' in GeoNetwork 2.2? It does not work
properly. There are no errors during harvesting, but it harvest
nothing though.
Is there any changes is Z3950 harvesting in GeoNetwork 2.4?

It's not good news for our organization, TINRO, which is the member of
PICES. It has a lot of Clearinghouse nodes necessary to harvest.

Feel free to get the Z39.50 harvester from the geocat.ch sandbox and
test it against your clearinghouse.
If it works for you, probably we could add it to trunk then.
The main issue I had was it was working for GeoNetwork Z39.50 servers
(but it's better to use internal protocol in that case) and not for
another server implementation required for the project. We decided to
switch to OAI because they're adding the support in our target node.
Ciao. Francois
