[Geoserver-devel] 1.4.0-RC1 feedback .. no go for mac

So far things are going well .... for those on a PC.

One person using a mac is stuck on the install process, we missed this patch which Jesse had attached to a Jira report previously. On the plus side the latest macs include JAI and Image IO in the systems Java.

We are getting the script from Jesse now and will retry.

With Jesse's script geoserver works fine. But any MapBuilder display is broken.
Jody

Can you send us the script or tell us in more detail what it does and what the problem is?
How are you running the server? (jetty, tomcat etc.)

Sorry for lack of detail Brent, I am just trying to take notes as we test things (in this setting I cannot look into every problem - but we can double back in a couple of days).

It seems that when using Firefox on the mack mapbuilder actually works, with the normal mac browser (safari?) mapbuilder does not come up. This may even be a known
bug for map builder.
