Ok I just read that email and realized that I have no idea what it says.
Let's try this again: I commited changes to geoserver 1.5.x which depend on classes developed in and commited to the latest revision of geotools 2.3.x
Unfortunately the build box doesn't have a recently updated version of 2.3.x, and therefore fails to compile my recent geoserver 1.5.x changes. Hopefully this will be resolved when the build-box updates itself to the latest geotools 2.3.x revision. Until then, geoserver-1.5.x will appear to be broken as far as cruise-control is concerned, but if you rebuild the latest 2.3.x sources, you should be fine.
