[Geoserver-devel] 11.0/2.5 Releases ready to go!

The artefacts (except the mac dmg) are all on sourceforge and there are draft blog posts at https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=116830172286767929#editor/target=post;postID=2019841344328443092;onPublishedMenu=allposts;onClosedMenu=allposts;postNum=0;src=postname and http://blog.geoserver.org/wp-admin/post.php?post=1839&action=edit&message=10 - feel free to correct my spelling or add in any exciting new features I’ve missed.

I’ll hit publish around 9am GMT on the 19th March - which is the closest to on time I’ve managed yet for a release

I am used to the wiki page being named 2.5.0 - but perhaps that is just me? See http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/GeoServer+2.4.0 for example.

I think we should wait for the mac DMG, PDF docs and docs (see http://docs.geoserver.org) before making any announcement.

Justin confirmed on IRC that the mac build box is down. I will build locally now.
Other than that we need our PDF docs, and the docs.geoserver.org links updated - any volunteers?

DMG is uploading now.

It seems the only thing holding the GeoServer release up now is the documentation - PDF and doc.geoserver.org - I can have a go at building the PDFs but it needs a Boundless employee to make the website (I believe).

OK I’ve managed to build a version of the PDF docs and have pushed them to sourceforge - is there a boundless employee in the house who can build the web site docs or should we release without the updated web site?

Justin is talking me through it, will have docs up shortly.

I noticed the DMG installer says 2.5-SNAPSHOT (2.5) in the about. Going to try and recreate it from the 2.5 tag and upload again.
