The CSW release blocker is not fixed yet, I was hoping for someone to review
and merge overnight but it did not happen:

Alessio is doing tests and review now. Once merged and backported I’m afraid we’ll
need a new round of nightly builds and CITE tests

I’m testing the PR right now. This issue is a release blocker imho, since the CSW module (at least) does not work anymore on Tomcat, but even worse the behavior can be randomic for beans depending on EntityResolver.
I will be able to finish review and testing in less than 30 min.
