Hi all,
I'm working on Windows vista but trying to compile GeoServer 2.2.x with maven and tests enabled the process hangs.
Going to perform individual module tests using eclipse.
I also attached the compile log (sorry for layout it is the git console) and the jstack dump.
Just reporting the problem, I've no time to investigate right now.
Cheers,
Carlo Cancellieri

Carlo,
GeoServer trunk is known to build on Windows and we have a build
server, but none of
the changes I've made to make it work there have been backported to 2.2.x, so
I'm not surprised it does not build (eventually hanging) on windows
Cheers

Carlo,
from time to time I find a naughty test that uses network resources and can end up talking to another concurrent test build (a different branch for example) or a running GeoServer instance. Please ensure no other builds are running and GeoServer is not running on your test instance. If this fixes the problem, you have found a bug; please file a Jira issue because (offline) tests must not use network resources because it breaks isolation.
Kind regards,
Ben.
