[Geoserver-devel] 2.4 final this week?

Hey folks,

Similar to post on geotools-devel how are people feeling about calling this weeks release 2.4 final? Or should we push out another release candidate?

Thanks.

We fixed quite a few bugs in 2.4.x but nothing earth shattering (most of the
regressions dated back to 2.3.x, compared to 2.2.x), besides an issue with
shapefiles that is hopefully fixed as well (try opening a old data dir with
shapefiles,
if that works, we're good)

I'm good with a 2.4.0 this week

Cheers

Uh, if the blog post was ready we could in fact just log into the geoserver
blog, and hit publish in front of the crowd, we would look
nice I guess.
But Justin already has his hands full I believe?

Feel free to expand on it. @Frank: I left you a section in the middle to thank the romanian folks.

I like the idea of hitting publish on Friday during Andrea and Jody’s talk  So if you guys want to do that it’s all yours.

Thanks Justin, I’ve added a section and to be honest it wasn’t only about Romanian. We git support for four more languages: French,Spanish,Polish and Romanian. Cool, isn’t it?

If somebody else modifies the post afterwards its a bit tricky to keep the correct chars. Please switch on the html tab and save right there. Hope it makes sense to you
