[Geoserver-devel] 2.4-RC2 preflight testing

Hi,

Test with Windows XP, exe-installer and Oracle datastore:

  • Install OK

  • Start from Windows start menu OK

  • Oracle layers from old data directory OK

  • Stop from Windows start menu OK

What do you mean by - but did not open the config page as I am used to?

I am not used to see any such page.

Okay a few things are ready for testing:

As usual osx late for the party, we will have to send out a search party.

Testing on windows 7:

  • install worked okay for me

  • the start geoserver script worked fin - but did not open the config page as I am used to?

  • The stop geoserver script did not work, I had to hit control-c in the geoserver window to stop the application

I would like if someone else can test on windows as my environment may be suspect due :frowning:

Jody

When starting geoserver on mac, after the service is started it opens up the geoserver admin panel using the default browser.
